Truly free
Useful features stay available without a subscription. Supporting the project is voluntary and unlocks no essential advantage.
StopCorn helps adults who want to change their relationship with pornography. Notice what is happening, move through difficult moments, and see your progress — without an account, ads, or judgment.
A different path
Many alternatives place their most useful tools behind a subscription or turn an intimate process into a product. StopCorn was created to offer accessible, discreet, and transparent support to anyone who feels they need it.
Progress is not a perfect streak. It grows as you understand your patterns and choose, a little more often, the action that is right for you.
Useful features stay available without a subscription. Supporting the project is voluntary and unlocks no essential advantage.
No StopCorn account, no tracking server, and no collection of sensitive content. Your entries remain locally on your phone.
The app shows trends without labels or punishment. A logged event never erases the effort you have already made.
In your pocket
No miracle promises: practical cues to prepare, act, understand, and move forward.
An urgent action that is immediately available, with guided breathing, a short delay, and strategies you selected in advance.
Voluntarily note context, emotions, and a private thought without recording websites, searches, or viewed content.
Compare your starting point with recent trends: frequency, sense of control, intensity, and change over time.
Take a few seconds to step back from the day without turning self-observation into another burden.
Prepare realistic actions and bring the best option back to mind when the decision becomes more difficult.
Positive actions grow a small symbolic harvest, with no ranking, competition, or punishing streak.
Your pace, your reference points
The app supports you through a short, voluntary loop. You always stay in control of what you enter.
When you begin, choose your goal and estimate your recent frequency, sense of control, and perceived impact.
Check-ins and the journal reveal contexts and trends without labeling each day as a success or failure.
When an urge arises, open the urgent flow and follow a strategy you prepared while the decision was easier.
Compare your recent situation with your starting point, keep what helps, and adapt your plan over time.
StopCorn does not block websites or monitor your browsing. It is a voluntary self-observation and action tool.
Private by design
The app is local by default. It requires no StopCorn account and includes no advertising, audience analytics, or marketing tracker. Anonymous crash reports can be turned off in the settings.
No StopCorn identity to create and no remote synchronization of your journal.
The app contains no ads, audience measurement, or marketing profiling.
No URLs, browsing history, searches, screenshots, or network traffic are recorded.
This policy describes the data handled by the StopCorn mobile app and by this website. It applies to the free app and its optional support mechanism.
StopCorn is an open-source project published by Skyost. It follows a local-first approach: the tracking information you enter is used by the app on your device and is not sent to a StopCorn server.
Your goal, check-ins, events, notes, strategies, and settings are stored locally. StopCorn never collects URLs, searches, screenshots, browsing history, contacts, or locations. You can voluntarily export your data or delete all data held by the app from its settings.
When StopCorn fails, an anonymous technical report can be sent through Sentry so the problem gets fixed. It contains the error, the version, and where in the app it happened. It never contains a goal, a check-in, an event, a note, or a value read from the local database, and navigation details are stripped of any identifier. Reporting is on by default and a switch in the app settings stops it completely.
This static website contains no advertising, audience analytics, or trackers. It only uses a functional cookie to remember your language choice. The hosting provider may retain standard technical logs, such as an IP address and request date, under its own operational and security rules.
StopCorn contacts RevenueCat only if you open the support page yourself: displaying the support card in Settings involves no network call. Once you have opened it, RevenueCat may process technical identifiers to check your support status, so an earlier purchase can still be acknowledged. When you provide support, RevenueCat and the App Store or Google Play also process the information needed for the purchase. StopCorn disables advertising features and does not use this information to track your habits. Support is voluntary, and your private notes are never sent with a purchase.
Links to GitHub, app stores, and third-party pages open independent services. Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. No content from your StopCorn journal is attached to these links.
You control the information you enter: export only starts when you request it, local data deletion is available in settings, and anonymous crash reports can be turned off there as well. If you have a question about this policy, you can open a public request on GitHub, taking care never to publish intimate information there.

The essentials about the app's role, limits, and model.
StopCorn is for adults who want to understand or change their pornography use, whatever its frequency. You do not need to describe yourself as addicted to use the app.
Goals, check-ins, events, notes, and strategies stay in the app's local database. Displaying Settings involves no network call: StopCorn contacts RevenueCat only once you have opened the support page yourself, and afterwards to acknowledge an earlier purchase. Making an optional purchase also involves your device's app store. If the app fails, an anonymous crash report can be sent so the problem gets fixed, and it can be turned off in the settings. No private note is associated with any of these operations.
